Got a 5 star review Tuesday for a campaign with 2 sales, and a 2 star review Friday for one with 12
Tuesday our biggest client left us 5 stars and a thank you note over a 3 month campaign that pulled in $400 in sales, but Friday a smaller client left 2 stars and a rant even though their campaign pulled in $4,800. Same team, same process, so now I am stuck wondering if reviews should be about the result or just about how good we made the client feel during the calls. Which one would you guys rather see on your agency page?
The client who wrote the 5 star probably never looked at the sales number at all. They judged the whole thing on how the calls felt and whether they trusted you. The 2 star client did the opposite, they saw $4,800 and still felt let down, which means the gap was in what you promised them up front, not the work itself. Maybe ask each client before the campaign starts what a win looks like to them, then the review matches the scorecard they already agreed on.
