Hot take: A/B testing with a tiny agency vs a big firm is like night and day

I spent six months with a big agency on a $3k monthly retainer for SEO and got vague reports. Switched to a boutique shop last quarter and they showed me a 40% traffic jump in two months with clear A/B test data. Has anyone else seen a huge difference based on agency size?

Honestly, I read somewhere that big agencies often spread their best people too thin across too many clients, so you end up with junior folks running your tests. That matches what I've heard from a few other people who made the switch like you did. Small shops seem to have more on the line with each client, so they really dig into the data instead of just sending a pretty PDF. Ngl, the difference in data quality between my old giant agency and the current small team was honestly shocking. Tbh, 40% traffic jump is no joke at all, that's real work.

My 12 person agency gave me 3 conflicting A/B tests before I gave up.
