Is a slow week a bad week or a blessing in disguise?

I run a small concrete crew in Austin and a few weeks ago we poured a driveway that looked perfect until the rain hit two hours later and washed out the whole finish. The client was actually understanding after I offered to redo it for free plus a discount, but my partner thinks I should have fought the weather clause in the contract. Would you eat the cost to save the review or push back when it's a weather issue?

Man, did the rain come out of nowhere or what? That's a tough break, but honestly I think you handled it the right way. A bad review can haunt you way longer than a little lost profit.

Ha, sounds like a blessing to avoid a bigger headache down the road!
