Just realized how much agency review sites have changed since I hired a local web design firm back in 2021.
Three years ago, I found my agency on a big review site that just listed basic star ratings and a few comments. Last month, I needed a new marketing partner and noticed most reviews now have detailed case studies with real numbers, like a 40% increase in leads for a client in Austin. The whole process felt more transparent, but also a bit overwhelming with so much info. How do you guys sort through all the detailed reviews to find a good fit?

I used to skip over those long case study reviews because they felt like marketing fluff. Then I saw one for a Denver SEO agency that showed a 65% drop in cost per lead over six months with actual screenshots. Now I look for that level of detail first, because anyone can fake a five star rating. I skim for the specific results that match my own goals, like needing more phone calls versus just website traffic. It cuts through the noise way faster.

Which Denver agency was that, out of curiosity?

Ever notice how we do this with everything now, like checking reviews for a toaster? We've all learned to hunt for the real proof behind the words.
