Shoutout to that agency in Austin that messed up my whole campaign
I hired a paid ads agency in Austin called BrightClick back in March to run my Facebook ads and they spent $4,500 with zero conversions in two weeks. They kept telling me to let the algorithm learn but I finally checked the ad manager myself and saw they targeted the whole country with no exclusions. Has anyone else had an agency feed you the same excuse while burning through your budget?

Wait, did you say they targeted the whole country with no exclusions? That's not just bad, that's like lighting money on fire. I had a similar thing happen where the agency set my budget to "accelerated" delivery instead of "standard" and burned through a week's budget in two days. Telling you to "let the algorithm learn" is their go-to excuse, but the algorithm can't learn if it's showing ads to people in Alaska who don't care about a local Austin service.

Accelerated delivery is basically a scam for burning through cash. They always blame the algorithm when really they set you up to fail. How is that even a defense?
