Why does nobody talk about hidden exit fees in agency contracts
I was sitting in a coffee shop downtown when my client forwarded me their termination clause. Buried on page 14 was a $3,200 fee just to leave before the 12-month mark. Has anyone else gotten blindsided by a sneaky clause like that?

Honestly, that "Did you read the whole contract" line is a bit harsh. Even if someone reads page 14, it's buried deep in legal speak that's easy to miss. Were you able to negotiate any of the fees down or did they hold firm on the $3,200 no matter what?
