Hot take: frozen broccoli is better than fresh in the air fryer

I used to be one of those people who swore by fresh broccoli only. Then someone on this forum told me I was overthinking it and to try frozen straight from the bag. I did it last Wednesday and honestly the texture is way better. It gets crispier on the outside and stays tender inside without me having to blanch it first. I just toss it with oil and seasoning at 400°F for 12 minutes. Has anyone else found frozen veggies that work better than fresh in your air fryer?

Told my buddy Mark about this and he laughed at me. He tried frozen cauliflower in his air fryer that weekend and texted me a photo of it looking perfect. Said he hasn't bought fresh cauliflower since.

That air fryer trick is the real deal. I learned the hard way too - kept buying fresh cauliflower and half of it would go bad before I used it. Now I just toss frozen florets straight in with some oil and seasoning, no thawing needed. The key is to not overcrowd the basket, give them space to crisp up. 400 degrees for about 12-15 minutes, shake halfway through. They come out just as crispy as fresh, maybe even better since the ice crystals create steam that helps the inside get tender while the outside browns.
