I used to think air fryer wings were just okay until I started brining them for 3 hours first.

Totally get what @willow244 means about the planning... it's a whole thing. That dry brine trick is a game changer for cutting the time down. You still get that salty flavor and crispy skin without the big wait.

Find that a quick dry brine works just as well without the wait. Just salt the wings and leave them uncovered in the fridge for an hour. The skin gets super crispy in the air fryer, and you don't have to plan your whole day around chicken. Honestly, the three hour wet brine seems like overkill for a weeknight meal.

Wait, three whole hours? That's a serious commitment to chicken wings. I can barely plan my dinner that far in advance. I guess it must make a huge difference though, because my usual 30 minute marinade is definitely just okay. You've got me wondering if I need to start brining things on my lunch break.
