My air fryer basket broke after 8 months of regular use

The handle snapped off while I was shaking some fries Tuesday night and the basket hit the floor. Anyone else had a basket handle fail on them, or did I just get a dud?

Basket hit the floor" is a bit dramatic, isn't it? I mean it sucks your air fryer broke but it's just an air fryer, not a family heirloom. Eight months of regular use is actually pretty decent for a budget appliance these days. Most of them are made with cheap plastic handles that will snap if you look at them wrong. You probably just got a normal one that lived its full lifespan. Go buy another one for like 40 bucks and move on.
