Spent $40 on silicone air fryer liners and they were a total waste
Everyone raves about those reusable silicone liners but mine made the bottom of my fries all soggy and weird. I threw them out after 2 uses and went back to just scrubbing the basket like normal. Has anyone else had better luck with a different brand or am I missing something?

Oh gosh, I actually love mine! I think you might have gotten a bad brand or maybe you're not letting them heat up enough first. I use them to line my basket so I can cook multiple batches without scrubbing between them and they've been great for me.

I saw a video from a home cook on YouTube who tested three different brands of those silicone liners and all of them gave her fries that weird soggy texture. She compared them side by side with parchment paper and the paper ones came out way crispier every time. The main issue seems to be that the silicone traps steam underneath the food no matter how hot you preheat the basket. I'd rather spend 30 seconds scrubbing than eat sad limp fries out of a forty dollar mistake.
