Why did nobody tell me you're supposed to preheat the air fryer?
So I've been using my air fryer for like 6 months now and wondering why my fries always came out soggy. Last Tuesday my buddy came over and saw me just toss the food in cold and he lost it. He showed me his basket was already hot from a 3 minute preheat and his chicken came out way crispier than mine ever has. Has anyone else been messing this up the whole time too?

I mean, "doing it wrong" seems a bit dramatic, right @jenniferwells? Like unless you're burning your house down or losing money over it, it's probably not that big of a deal. Idk, maybe it's just me but I swear people act like there's one perfect way to do everything these days. Half the time the "right" way changes next week anyway.
