Pro tip: I swapped from a standard torque wrench to a digital one for a critical engine mount job.

The digital unit flagged a 15% under-torque on three fasteners my old clicker had passed as good. Anyone else find a tool that caught a mistake you missed?

Ever read about how clicker wrenches can lose calibration over time? That's exactly why I switched to a digital model for anything important. It just feels more reliable when you get that exact number.

Actually, a good clicker wrench should hold its calibration for a long time if you treat it right. The digital ones are cool, but they rely on batteries and sensors that can also fail. I still trust the click in my ear for critical stuff because it's a simple mechanical signal. The real key is just checking your tools now and then, no matter what kind you use.
