PSA: Counted 6 planes parked at Tucson with bird nests in the cowling
I was walking the ramp at a small field near Tucson last month and spotted dried grass poking out of the cowl flaps on 3 different tied-down planes. The owners had no clue, and one of them said it had only been sitting 2 months. How often do you guys pull the cowling on a parked plane before you trust it?
