Switched from paper logbooks to digital tracking after a close call on a 737
I used to keep all my torque and inspection records in a paper notebook, no backup. Then last March I lost three months of work when a coffee spill wiped out half the pages. Has anyone else made the switch to an app or spreadsheet and found it worth the hassle?

Did you find it hard to get used to typing everything up instead of just writing it down?

My first week I kept trying to tap the screen with an invisible pen so that was a rough start. The worst part was getting used to not having a delete button like on paper you just scratch it out but here you have to triple tap backspace. After a few days my thumbs stopped cramping and now I actually type faster than I ever wrote by hand.
