The way we handle composite repairs at my hangar is totally different now than it was five years ago.
Back in 2019, a patch job on a 737 radome took us two full shifts and a lot of guesswork on cure times. After a new shop lead pushed for the whole team to get formal composite training last year, the same job last week was done in under six hours with way better results. Are other shops seeing this big a jump from getting certified training, or did we just have a bad system before?

That "big a jump" from training is how most things work.

See it all the time with my mechanic. He started using the actual torque specs from the manual instead of just going by feel, and now stuff doesn't come loose a week later. Good training just gives you the right steps so you stop wasting time.
