Watched a guy in Boise torque a prop bolt by feel, then I checked it with a wrench
Two years ago I would have just let it go, but the dude was going by sound and his elbow. I put a torque wrench on the same bolt after he walked off and it read 40 inch pounds low on a spec of 200. Took me about 30 seconds to catch it, and that plane went out the same day. So my question is, do you all re-check the guy next to you, or is that stepping on toes?
