A guy in Tulsa told me my keypad placement was a 'break-in starter kit' and it stung
Honestly I used to slap keypads right next to the front door because it was easy and the wire run was short. Then a retired cop in Tulsa walked my install at 1428 Maple and said that setup hands a burglar 30 seconds to yank it off the wall before the siren even trips. Now I run keypads to the garage entry or a side hall and pull a second run for a repeater. Anybody else had a homeowner push back on keypad placement because they just want it by the front door?
