Blew $350 on a Ring alarm system and swapped it out in 3 months

I thought I was being smart buying that Ring security bundle from Best Buy last spring. Easy setup, cheap monthly fee, what could go wrong? Well the sensors kept dropping offline and the siren was so quiet my neighbor couldn't hear it when I tested it. Ended up ripping it all out for a Honeywell Vista panel from a local distributor. Has anyone else had reliability problems with these all-in-one consumer kits?

Had a totally different experience with mine. Sensors stayed connected and the siren was loud enough for my whole neighborhood to hear during a test.
