Duct tape vs zip ties for temporary panel covers, duct tape wins every time
Had a job last month in Phoenix where the cover for an old DSC panel was cracked and the customer didn't want to pay for a new one yet. I tried zip ties to hold it shut, kept popping off in the heat. Switched to duct tape and it held solid for 3 weeks until the replacement came in. Anyone else deal with customers who refuse to spend on basic parts like this? What do you use as a quick fix that actually lasts?

Duct tape held solid in Phoenix heat, I just wrap it tight around the corners.
