I finally gave in and tried those wireless sensors on a job in Austin last year.
Always thought they were a gimmick for homeowners, but the client needed a clean install in a historic building with plaster walls. The Honeywell SiX sensors held up through a Texas summer and winter with zero false alarms. What's the longest you've had a wireless setup running without a hiccup?

The real test is what's around the sensors. Old wiring in those walls can cause interference that messes with any wireless signal. @leoprice is right to be suspicious, but a clean electrical environment matters more than the brand sometimes. I saw a system fail because of a bad transformer on a doorbell, not the sensors themselves. You got lucky with that building's bones.
