Raccoon set off my new motion sensor three nights straight
Wired a Honeywell 5800 in a crawlspace near Eugene that kept tripping false alarms. Third night I pulled the cover and found paw prints all over the lens. Customer laughed, said the coons chewed through their bird feeder last spring. Anyone rigged a pet-friendly sensor to ignore raccoons without killing detection?
