Switched from wired to wireless sensors on a 1970s house and saw the difference in 2 hours
I had this old house in Portland with plaster walls that made running wires a nightmare. After 3 hours crawling in the attic, I switched to wireless sensors from my usual wired setup. The install time dropped from 6 hours to 2, and the signal strength was solid through thick walls. The homeowner even noticed the cleaner look without wires everywhere. Anyone else swapped to wireless for tough retrofits and seen similar time savings?

Plaster walls make wired sensors not worth the headache.

My last attempt at wiring through plaster ended with me covered in dust and questioning all my life choices. Definitely sticking to wireless for now!
