The difference in response time after swapping out old control panels hit me hard last month
We had a system in a warehouse outside Denver that was still running a panel from 2008, and it took 45 seconds to report a door breach. After putting in a new Honeywell unit, that dropped to under 5 seconds. Has anyone else seen this kind of lag from aging boards that could put a client at risk?

Our Denver site had a 2009 unit that took 38 seconds to register a door alarm. After the upgrade it dropped to 4 seconds flat. I actually tripped over my own feet running to test it because I was so used to having time to grab a coffee. Felt like a complete goof standing there waiting for an alarm that never came.
