The homeowner who followed me around with a notepad for 3 hours

Last Tuesday I installed a panel and 6 sensors in a house in Mesa while the owner wrote down everything I did and asked why for each step. When I asked why, he said his last guy put a motion sensor right above a heat vent and he wanted to make sure I wasn't "winging it." Funny thing is, I moved my sensor placement on the next 2 jobs because he had a point about airflow. Anyone else had a customer teach them something mid-install?
