The way some companies deal with service calls is a total joke

I've been on three calls this week where the central station couldn't reset the system remotely. They make us drive out for a simple code entry, wasting hours. It feels like they don't trust us to fix basic issues, and it kills our efficiency. Honestly, it's costing everyone time and money lmao.

My buddy had that exact problem last month, like @the_holly said, it's everywhere. His company made him drive an hour just to push a button someone could have talked him through. The whole thing just feels like a silly power play that burns gas and goodwill.
