Tried mounting a wireless doorbell sensor with double-sided tape instead of screws...
I had a job in an apartment complex last Tuesday where drilling into the brick facade wasn't an option, so I used 3M VHB tape to hold the sensor. Three days later the tenant called saying it fell off during a rainstorm and the glue let go completely. Has anyone else found a reliable tape that actually holds up outdoors?

Used to think all double-sided tapes were basically the same stuff, but this totally changed my mind. Nope, gotta go with something like Gorilla Heavy Duty Mounting Tape or even a construction adhesive if it's really gonna get wet.
