My drywall crew hit a stud sensor goldmine in Airdrie last month

We were doing a reno on a 1980s bungalow off Main Street and the old blueprints were useless, so I pulled out my 80 dollar Franklin sensor that I usually hate. It caught a live wire behind 5/8" drywall that the homeowner's last guy missed completely, probably would've been a 4 figure fix or worse. That one save paid for the tool in a single morning. Anyone else got a sensor that actually earns its keep or do you just poke holes and pray?

You ever get that gut feeling when the sensor beeps and you're like 80% sure it's just the stud finder being dramatic again? Glad yours actually paid off, mine just yells at me about ghosts in the walls half the time.
