That Fort McMurray job site made me rethink power tool brands entirely
I was working through -30 temps on a commercial build up near Fort McMurray last February and my Milwaukee fuel drill locked up on day two while the guys with older Dewalts kept going. Has anyone else had major brand tools fail in extreme cold like that?

Blew my mind reading that. I always thought Milwaukee was the cold weather king but sounds like Dewalt has it figured out for extreme temps.

...I mean, I get it, it's interesting and all but how often are you really out there in extreme cold using power tools for hours on end? Feels like one of those things that sounds huge on paper but in real life nobody's running a saw at minus 20 degrees for a full work day. Maybe I just don't live in a place cold enough to care that much. It's cool they've got the tech figured out, but I dunno if it's mind blowing or just... good engineering.

Funny how that works. Nothing's ever the undisputed king at everything.
