Update: spent $340 on a used tile saw for a Cochrane basement job and it paid for itself on one bathroom
Client wanted 12x24 porcelain in a basement bath, and renting a saw for four days was gonna run me about $280 with the blade. Found a used DeWalt on Kijiji for $340, guy in Cochrane was retiring. Cut the whole job with it, no chipping, no re-cuts. Did a second bathroom for the same client last month so the thing is basically free now. Anyone else buying used tools instead of renting, or did I just get lucky with this one?
