Vent: waited 3 weeks for a fence quote in Red Deer and the guy showed up with no tape measure
So we finally got a guy out to look at replacing about 60 feet of fence that blew down in that windstorm back in May. He walks the yard, nods a bunch, says he'll email a quote by Friday, and then nothing for 3 weeks. When I call to follow up he acts like I'm the one being pushy, and his quote came in at $4,800 which is almost double what the other two guys said. I get that everyone is booked solid right now but just say that instead of ghosting people. Has anyone else had luck finding someone in central Alberta who actually follows up, or is this just how it is now?
