Shoutout to the guy at Home Depot who watched me struggle with PVC glue for 10 minutes

He finally walked over and showed me I was putting the primer on AFTER the glue, not before. Anyone else have a pro tip that made you feel like a complete beginner?

Used to think primer was just pointless extra steps some youtuber made up. Then I tried gluing a drain line without it and watched the joint pop apart three days later. Now I treat that little purple can like it's sacred. Feels stupid to admit but that stuff is non-negotiable now.
