Showerthought: the tile aisle at the ReStore on Comanche taught me to check the back of the stack
I popped into the ReStore on Comanche SE on Saturday just to grab a $4 light switch plate and ended up digging through the tile bins for 40 minutes. Somebody had stashed about 30 square feet of nice 12x12 slate behind a pile of cracked terracotta, and it rang up at 60 cents a tile, so I walked out for under $25. I keep thinking about how much good stuff in this town gets buried by the junk on top instead of sitting out front. Anybody else got a regular spot around here where you have to dig to find the real deals?
