Talked to a drywall finisher at Home Depot and it changed how I tape corners
I was grabbing supplies for my garage reno last Saturday and this older guy saw me loading up on paper tape. He asked if I ever tried the FibaTape for inside corners. I told him no, I just used paper tape like my dad showed me. He laughed and said paper tape is fine for flats but corners always crack with paper if you don't bed it perfect. He showed me a roll of mesh tape right there in the aisle. Said he switched 8 years ago and never looked back. First inside corner I did last night with mesh tape came out way flatter. No bubbles or wrinkles at all. Anyone else ditch paper tape for corners or am I late to the party?

Heard my buddy tried mesh tape and his corners looked way cleaner too.

Mesh tape's been my go-to for years now, way easier to work with than paper. Corners come out sharp without fighting the stuff.
