Hot take: belt sanders are way better for leveling fridge feet than I thought

I was replacing a compressor on a 2009 Frigidaire side by side in a rental property near Austin last Wednesday. After I got the new one in and wired up, the thing was rocking like crazy on that cheap peel and stick tile floor. Usually I just twist the leveling legs by hand and hope for the best, takes forever and they always slip. I remembered my buddy saying he uses a belt sander to knock down high spots on floors for big appliances. So I grabbed my old 3x21 Porter Cable, threw on a 60 grit belt, and carefully took about a quarter inch off the highest tile near the front left foot. Worked perfect, fridge sits dead flat now and no more shaking. Has anyone else used power tools to adjust floors instead of fighting with leveling legs all day?

Dude yes, belt sanders are a total game changer for leveling stuff lol. @torres.elizabeth you won't regret grabbing one, I used mine last month to shave down a high spot on a concrete slab for a washer and it saved me a ton of hassle. Seriously, once you try it you'll wonder why you ever bothered messing with those stupid leveling feet.
