Put the drum back on the spider wrong for 2 months and wondered why every Kenmore shook
I was rebuilding washer tubs in my shop off Grand Ave and kept blaming bad bearings when the machine walked across the floor after every spin cycle. Turns out I had the drum spider arms clocked one hole off from the counterweight, so the whole basket was out of balance from the start, and the look on the guy's face when I showed him the alignment marks was brutal. How do you all mark your tub and spider before pulling them apart so this never happens again?
