Skeptical about ultrasonic cleaners for fridge parts, now I swear by one

I ran a $90 ultrasonic cleaner on a gunked-up ice maker dispenser arm after 2 hours of scraping got nowhere, and it came out spotless in 12 minutes, so has anyone else tried one on control boards or is that asking for trouble?

Yeah, boards are a different beast. Water and electronics rarely mix well.
