Swapped a drum bearing on a Samsung dryer last weekend in Austin and it took me 7 hours because the old bearing race had welded itself to the shaft, needed a cutoff wheel and a lot of patience. The service manual said 90 minutes, which I should have known was a joke. Anyone else find drum bearings on newer dryers way more stubborn than the older models?
