Update: I was on a call for a fridge that wouldn't cool, and the fix was in the garage
Got a call for a Sub-Zero in a big house in Scottsdale, the owner said it was just warm. Checked the usual stuff inside, compressors, fans, all fine. I was about to pack up when I noticed the condenser coils were in the garage, not behind the fridge. Walked out there and they were packed with about an inch of dust and dog hair. Spent 45 minutes with a coil brush and a shop vac, and the temp started dropping right away. The owner had no idea that part even needed cleaning. How often do you guys check for remote condensers on high-end units?

Wait, the condenser was in the GARAGE? That's a new one for me.

Ever find a condenser coil hidden somewhere really weird? I once spent an hour looking before finding one tucked into a kitchen island cabinet, behind a fake drawer front. It was just as clogged as your garage find.
