Hit my 1000th tree removal last week and it was a goat

I was counting removals on a pad for the last 2 years and my 1000th job was a 40 foot dead oak in someone's backyard that kept getting tangled in power lines. Took me 3 extra hours because a goat from the neighbor's property kept eating my rope coils. Has anyone else had a random animal mess up a major milestone job?

That goat must have cost you a fair chunk of change in lost time. Did the neighbor offer to pay for the extra hours or at least help keep the thing penned up?

Right? That goat cost me more time than the actual fence work did. I told my neighbor straight up they need to chip in for the hours I lost, but they just laughed and said it's a "community goat" now. I swear, @sageburns, if that thing gets out again, I'm putting a tracker on it and sending them the bill for my wasted afternoon. At least they could help me build a proper pen, but no, they just shrug and say goats are escape artists.
