Just topped 50 trees in a single day for the first time
I hit 52 removals last Thursday on a big lot clearing job outside Portland. That's way more than my usual 20-25 and I felt it in my shoulders the next morning. Has anyone else pushed their daily count that high and found a good way to pace yourself?

52 is a solid day, no question about it. I had a similar push a few weeks back clearing a steep lot in the Gorge, hit 45 and paid for it the next two days. What finally helped me was splitting the count into two hard sprints, like 25 before lunch and then 20-25 after with a real 20 minute break in between to eat and stretch. I also started using a lighter saw on the smaller stuff to save my shoulders for the big cuts, which made a huge difference (seriously, that extra rest between trees adds up). Pacing is tough when you're on a roll, but forcing that forced stop keeps you from grinding yourself into the ground.

Curious if you found yourself getting sloppy with the little stuff when you switched to a lighter saw, or did it just let you work faster without losing accuracy?
