Unpopular opinion: that $300 pruning tool was a total waste for me
I mean, everyone raves about those fancy compound bypass pruners with the rotating handles. I bought one last spring after three different arborists on here swore by it. Cost me $300 and honestly my old $40 pair from the hardware store does the same job. The fancy one actually pinches on thicker deadwood, which is the one thing I need it for. Maybe it's just my grip or technique, but I feel like I got sold on hype. Anyone else tried a high end pruner and gone back to the cheap stuff?
