Vent: a stat sheet from a Boise conference says 1 in 3 climbers gets hurt in their first 2 years
Was flipping through a handout at the Idaho urban forestry meetup and it claimed something like 1 in 3 new climbers takes a real injury in their first 24 months on the job. Idk if that number is padded or if I just got lucky, but it made me think about how little real safety talk happens once you're past the basics. Any of you seen that stat before, or is it just scare tactics to sell cert courses?
