Field school 15 years ago vs what my nephew showed me last month

Back when I did my first dig in Ohio, we spent three whole days sifting dirt through screens by hand for one small test pit. Last month my nephew pulled out a portable flotation tank from his truck and processed twice the material in one afternoon. He told me they use it to catch tiny seeds and bones we would have just tossed. Has anyone else seen how fast these things changed the game on smaller sites?
