Hit my 200th pottery shard find on a dig last Saturday
I was out with a local group near an old creek bed in Ohio and pulled up a piece with a clear fingerprint pressed into the clay. Turned out I had exactly 200 pieces logged in my binder from the last three years of weekend hunts. Has anyone else ever counted up how many artifacts they've collected from a single site?

Take a close up photo of that fingerprint and send it to a local university anthropology dept. Old fingerprints on pottery can tell them things about the people who made it like their age or what they were doing right before they pressed it in.
