Just learned only 1 in 10 Egyptian mummies has been CT scanned and I can't stop thinking about it

Get why that number sounds wild but it makes sense if you think about it. CT scans are expensive and most mummies are just sitting in museums where nobody wants to risk damaging them for a scan that might not teach us much. So is it really a shock that we have only scanned a small slice of them?
