Big mistake buying that $200 leather jacket off Instagram

Saw an ad for this brand called LuxLeatherCo and dropped $200 on a jacket that looked sick in the pics. Arrived after 3 weeks and it's basically cardboard with a zipper - stiff as hell and smells like a chemical factory. Had to spend another $60 on leather conditioner just to make it wearable. Anyone else get burned by those Instagram leather ads?

Read a review saying it's just cheap bonded leather spray painted.

Nah I gotta push back on that one. I've had mine for about 8 months now and it still looks solid, no peeling or weird fading at all. Maybe they got a dud or something but my experience has been way different.
