Changed my mind about needing to answer every single question in a forum thread
I used to think that as a community helper, I had to reply to every post, even the vague ones, to be helpful. Last week, I spent 45 minutes trying to untangle a question that was just 'How do I get more views?' with zero other details. I finally just asked for specifics, and the person never replied. I learned that sometimes the best answer is asking for a better question first. Has anyone else found that focusing on the clear questions saves a ton of time?

Been there, done that. How much time do you think you've saved since you switched to that rule?
