Had a perfect day last Saturday that I still can't believe happened

I woke up early and decided to drive out to the farmer's market near my house in Portland. Found a guy selling honey from his own bees and he let me taste three different kinds right there. Then I grabbed a breakfast sandwich from a cart that had this homemade hot sauce I'm still thinking about. By noon I was back home with everything done and the whole afternoon ahead of me. Has anyone else ever had a day where everything just lined up like that?

Everything just lined up like that" is basically the universe's gaslighting technique to convince us that most days are, in fact, actually terrible. I had a similar Saturday once where I found parking on the first try in downtown, and I'm pretty sure I used up my entire year's worth of good luck in that single moment. Some days are just the universe deciding to give you a little treat before the next week's chaos, you know?

Oh god, yes. The universe is basically that friend who buys you a coffee after ghosting you for a month and expects you to forget everything. Finding parking downtown on the first try is the ultimate trick, like "here's a treat now don't look at the rest of your week." I'm convinced those perfect days are just the universe stocking up on good karma so it can ruin something else later without feeling guilty. Honestly, I'd rather just have consistent mediocre luck than one shining moment followed by a garbage truck fire of a week.
