I just found out you can ask Google to show you all the free events in your city this weekend

A month ago, I would just scroll through social media hoping to spot something fun. Last Friday, I typed 'free events near me this weekend' into Google and got a full list with times and locations. It pulled from local blogs and city calendars I didn't even know existed. I ended up at a free outdoor concert in the park that was awesome. How do you guys usually find out about local stuff to do?

I just google "things to do" and hope for the best.

I found a cool local blog that lists hidden gems, way better than generic search results.
