Just found out my local library gives out free museum passes

I was at the circulation desk last week picking up a hold and saw a little sign about museum passes. Figured they meant a brochure or something, but nope. They have actual passes you can check out for a week at a time to places like the science center and the natural history museum. Has anyone else stumbled on a hidden perk like this at their library? I'm still kicking myself for not knowing about it sooner.

Call your library and ask if they do the same for state park parking passes too. I found out the hard way after driving an hour to a park and having to pay full price at the gate. Also check if there's a limit on how many you can take out at once. My library lets me grab two passes per card but I had to ask at the desk to learn that one.
